Urology Advanced Practice Provider Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our urology team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in urology with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer treatments as needed.
• Manage patient medical records and ensure accurate documentation of clinical data.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Valid Idaho Physician Assistant License or Nurse Practitioner license.
• Experience in Urology preferred but all interested candidates encouraged to apply.
• Good references.
• Familiarity with catheter placement and diagnosis and management of urological conditions.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams and efficient use of the electronical medical record.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple patient cases efficiently.
• Commitment to providing compassionate care and improving patient health outcomes.
